- Apple Wallet is the built-in app on every iPhone where people store their bank cards, boarding passes, event tickets, and ID. Google Wallet is the equivalent on Android phones. Both apps come pre-installed on most modern smartphones. Spark Loyalty creates a loyalty card that lives inside these apps, so your customers always have it with them — no separate download needed.
- You display a QR code at your counter — on a printed card, a till sticker, or on a screen. Your customer scans it with their phone camera. A prompt appears asking if they want to add the card to their wallet. They tap "Add". That is it. The whole process takes about five seconds.
- Each time a customer pays, they open their loyalty card in their wallet app and show the screen to your staff. Your team scans the card using the Spark Loyalty stamping tool on any phone or tablet. The stamp is added and the updated count appears on the customer's card immediately.
- Yes. For merchants who want a tap-to-stamp experience, Spark Loyalty supports NFC as well as QR scanning. A customer can tap their phone on an NFC-enabled device at your counter to receive their stamp, with no need to open the wallet app manually first.
- When a customer collects enough stamps to earn their reward, their loyalty card updates automatically to show the reward is ready. They also receive a wallet push notification to let them know. When they come in to claim it, you scan the card to mark the reward as redeemed and their stamp count resets.
